The Squaw Creek lift has been reopened. Unfortunately only the manual hoists are operational at this time. We will keep you updated on the status of the electric hoists. Work to complete the sluice gate project is continuing. We are hoping to have the lifts reopened at some point during this weekend, July 19-20.
Again, thank you for your continued patience during this unexpected closure of the lifts. Work on the sluice gate project is progressing.
The old sluice gate has been removed. Unfortunately, some of the supports for the cat walk had to be loosened and partially removed to remove the gate. This has created a safety concern. To avoid any injuries at the dam, we have decided to close the lifts while we work to fix the issue. We hope to have it reopened by Wednesday, July 16, 2014. This was unexpected and we apologize for the inconvenience this situation creates. Thank you for your continued patience. |
