On August 26, 2013, Erik Herrmann, Jim Miller, RJ Ringa, and Andrew Ringa installed a new hoist at the Long Lake Dam. Bob Ringa Jr. provided supervision and entertainment.
The older hoist was taken down and will be serviced and kept as a spare.
There have been reports of the hoists catching or hesitating a little bit when being pulled across the dam while under load. We are looking into it.
If you experience any trouble or see anything out of place at the dam, please report it to the board immediately.
